About me
My name’s Edward Lord. Although my background is in paleobiology, I’ve been a medical writer and editor since 2006. I’ve also been a bodybuilding and fitness enthusiast since I was a child.
Born and raised in London, I have trained on and off since the age of nine, sometimes producing what some people might call a decent body. I’ve also gone through periods where I have become lazy and put on lots of weight. At my heaviest, in my early thirties, I weighed 231 pounds, much of which was fat. After getting diagnosed with mild nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, I pulled my act together and got back into shape, where I have remained into my early forties.
I love bodybuilding and fitness probably more than anyone I have ever met. After all these years, I still get a buzz when I train, and I can never wait to get back into the gym. I love the gym lifestyle and culture, and I especially love the feeling that I get after a workout, as I leave the gym with my joints feeling well oiled and my muscles feeling like they’re about to explode!
Another thing that I love is learning about fitness and bodybuilding. As someone with a strong background in life sciences, my research goes much deeper than average. I like to understand everything at a deep scientific level so that when I train, I do it properly.
For me, training isn’t just about building muscle and strength. I also understand the importance of improving my endurance, agility, flexibility, balance, coordination, posture, gait, muscle strength ratios, and body composition. Only then can you truly have a great body.
This website contains everything you need, whether male or female, to create a great body. Most of the content of the website is also available in my ebook. I researched everything thoroughly, wrote it all with care, and did my best to explain everything as clearly as possible. I then updated the content and kept updating it to make sure that it’s as effective and useful to people as possible.
If my website, ebook, and/or social media accounts help you, please let me know. I genuinely love hearing from people who have benefited from my efforts. It makes all the hard work worthwhile.
